SLP are qualified specialists in competitive swimming. Our team consists of national and international level swim coaches, former elite level swimmers, sports nutritionists, sports psychologists, and sports physiotherapists. We provide learn to swim and elite swimming coaching to schools, universities, and individuals, with a focus on stroke technique, strength, and fitness development. We cater babies from 5 years to adult, from beginner to advanced. Our goal is to develop peak performance and enable swimmers to reach their full potential. Learn to swim has been designed for children and adults to learn about water safety. Each individual requires different time to achieve acquaintance with water and feel comfortable in water. After this course, individual will be able to stay afloat and swim to shallow or safe zone. Also, basic freestyle and breaststroke are main focuses.
Junior squad comprises of young swimmers and those who can do freestyle and breaststroke only. In Junior squad, swimmer will be trained in variation of freestyle and breaststroke practice including front flip, jump and kick. After this course, individual will be competent in freestyle and breaststroke for competition.
After gaining experience in freestyle and breaststroke, swimmer will be train for backstroke and butterfly. These strokes require stamina and muscle strength. Training will focus on building up cardiovascular fitness and strengthening of related muscle groups. Program will be designed in crescendo pattern. Those who sticks with the program will greatly perceive changes in performance.
Elite program is developed for competitive swimmer who want to pursue their full potential in swimming. There is no age limit for being an elite in swimming. Program will focus on stamina, swimming technique and muscle conditioning for competition. Whether the goal is short distance, long distance, or triathlon; this program can help swimmers to achieve their goals.
We provide training for those who aim for triathlon. Our training program includes swimming technique, power stroke, and endurance. We also provide muscle training for triathlon.
Each end-of-term, we have two-week swim camp to provide fun activities to swimmer from beginner level to advanced. In summer camp, swimmers will experience fun games which require water skill together with mini racing with other swimmers.
Swim clinic provides technical correction and modification for swimmers at all level. Combining swimming coach knowledge with new technology, swimmer can learn their issues and problems. The result is possible solution with less effort. With our partners, many assistance such as heart rate monitoring, rehabilitation, personal training, and acupuncture are available.
We can provide private and semi-private classes for those who may require extra attention. You can choose your pool for your convenience also.
Water Polo is a great water sport which helps swimmer to utilize their swimming skills and knowledge into game. Water polo builds great stamina throughout playing. Without weight bearing load on ankles and knees, it is perfect for those who want to achieve vigorous exercise without hurting their spine and lower extremities.
SLP collaborates with Waves Training Center provide a certified lifeguard training course under Ellis & Associates (USA). The two day program will give hands on workshop how to save lives in water under various scenarios. Program also include basic life support and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use. Individual and group training can be arranged upon request.
Develop basic water safety skills and confidence in the water. Swimmers develop basic motor skills and the ability to propel themselves unassisted.
At this level swimmers already have the ability to move unassisted through the water. Swimmer will learn a basic freestyle technique.
Further development of water safety, confidence, and basic swimming skills. At this level swimmers already have the ability to swim basic Freestyle. Swimmers will learn basic breaststroke.
At this level swimmers already have the ability to swim basic freestyle and breaststroke, swimmers will learn a basic backstroke technique.
Further development of basic swimming skills. At this level swimmers should be competent in all three strokes. We will teach swimmer for basic butterfly.
Develop swimming technique in all four swimming strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly). Swimmers are introduced to dry land stretching.
